Also look far enough into the future, so that you purchase a midpipe that allows you to run longtube headers.

I didn't have the forsight, and am now wondering WTF to do.

At this point, I love the way it sounds more than anything...so I'll probably have it custom fabricated when I get the longtubes installed...or sell them and get a shorter midpipe.
So he can sit it in his garage until he gets LT's? Long tube headers are LONGer then the stock manifold or SHORT headers, so if you want LT's you have to get a short midpipe in the middle to match everything up. If you don't have LT's then you need the standard length midpipe so it can reach both ends. There is no mid-pipe that can fit both without modification, like cutting off some pipe an welding the ends. .
