I dont know if anyone knows any tricks, but I installed some new ceramic brakes and they were quite for about 100 miles then OMG its the loudest thing i have ever heard...any suggestions??? someone said somewhere that over time they will wear in and it will go away... how much time.....i am going deaf

I haven't used them on a Mustang but my last car had them and they were embarrassingly loud. I was told they squeak for awhile and then quiet down but my experience was the opposite - they were quiet for a week and then got really loud and annoying until I replaced them after 3000 miles.

Did you add the non squeak stuff when you installed them?

it did not come with any and that stuff does not work for this kind of squeek

I know what anti-sqeak stuff your talking about, it may help, but did you turn your rotors or get new rotors?

I know when installed a set of high temp ceramic pads on my friends mazdaspeed protege we were told by the guys are carbotech that they will squeal until they get warmer, and there was no way around it.

You should have added break quiet to it.

no there is a procedure, its like this drive to 60 apply brakes slowly 2 or 3 times do this....almost come to a stop.... then do the same thing but apply very hard about 7 times and dont stop this will "set" the brakes or at least I am reading that
