Rims and tire sizes

Rims and tire sizes
I have a 2003 GT and would like to upgrade the rims and tires. What size rims will fit and what is the best combo of rim size and tire size. The GT is silver with a black stripe down the middle I was thinking of getting black rims. Any thoughts on this. Thanks.
