lm1 or lm2

RE: lm1 or lm2
What sounds better is all subject to opinion. Some will tell you LM1s are better sounding and some will tell you LM2s sound better. Depends what you like. Hell, I know people that drive honda's with fart-can exhausts that think their car's sound good. All depends on what you like.
Lm1s are quite a bit lounder than LM2s
Lm2s are quite a bit deeper than LM1s from what Ive heard
I have LM1s and LOVE them. Very deep and VERY loud

1`s are too loud. 2`s are deeper and sound much better.

Although it is usually not wise to make this decision based on sound clips. They usually dont do the exhaust justice.

Almost all aftermarket pipes/headers are the same size. And yes, long tubes, midpipe and catback would be the best setup. If you are getting longtubes, you will need a shorty midpipe to fit with the headers. Unless you are doing headers at the same time as your midpipe. I would suggest a modular midpipe such as SLP so you dont have to buy 2 midpipes.

LM1's = LOUD AS FREAKING HELL
LM2's = Very Loud, and a little deeper
Heres what you have to do. For a perfect sound, go with LM2's and a catted x-pipe.
If you want LOUD as freaking hell, but still a refined tone - LM1's with a catted x-pipe
If you want LOUDest possible setup - LM1's with a o/r x-pipe (may be unrefined a.ka. a tad raspy)
If you want LOUD and still very refined with an excellent tone - LM2's with an o/r x-pipe
