Thanks to everyone for the input...from what im reading i think im gonna order the mgw. Now what gears in the rear end would be most suitable for the combo i'll have (king cobra clutch and mgw shifter), plus about a 15 minute drive to work everyday? sorry for all the questions,im pretty new to this... i just dont want to get something and regret it later.

well it depends on what you want... I wasn't sure whether or not to go 3.73 or 4.10, so I went 3.90 and i love em... some people will swear by 3.73, some will 4.10 and some will say 4.30... my advice is try to find someone with the gears and take a ride... my stepbrother has 4.10, and I like my 3.90 a whole lot better... not a big differance but just enough... and remember, if you get gearing - you need a speedo recal which if you get a tuner/ecu will cost upwards of $400.00, I would say get either the Diablo Predetor or the SCT Xcal2 before you put on the gears or at the same time... the Tuner is probably the 2nd best bang for the buck under $500.00, next to the gears..

Depends on the computer... the handheld tuners plug in to the port on the right side of the drivers seat... if your computer is a 2001 computer, I don't think you'd have any problems..

The tuners work on 96-2005+ Mustangs so it will work regardless of the engine... Not that there is any real difference between the 01 and 96 engine other than the heads and intake.
