just a thought here, why remove weight from the rear? whenever i have tons of parts in the rear (like over 100lbs) i hook up really good. i dont reccomend making the rear lighter. to me that is counter productive. do a battery relocation to the rear too, that wont remove weight but it takes it away from the front. i wouldnt gut the interior or anything, unless its gonna be a drag-only car. might wanna pickup some lighter wheels too.

Simple suspension mods that should be done to any Mustang making runs at the track will absolutely outperform added weight in the trunk.
i know man, i got an entire suspension sitting in my room. cant wait to put it all on. untill then ill rely on my bunch of spare parts from the engine swap to keep my *** down.

Status: offline Take a drill and drill into the hood like 100 times. SPEED HOLES !!!
Or you could buy a lighter hood... Stock hood is HEAVY !!!
thats a good one, my stock hood is like 47lbs and my new fiberglass one is like less then 20

what is the point of removing the quad shocks? will i get better traction without them? i have upper and lower C/A's.....

also, how much weight do u think my full exhuast has taken off the car? my stock headers weigh as much as my LT's sadly and the stock midpipe is heavy as hell too. so was the catback. im guessing it lost 30lbs from all that which i gained back already unfortunatly from other stuff added. do K members help out in the twisties alot and with launching?
