Default Need Advice

I have a 1996 GT Conver that has 134,000 miles on it. The car runs great and it still looks pretty good. My problem is that I want more power of course and I'm not sure if I should try to sell this car and get a 2001 GT. My car is paid for and I don't have a lot of extra money for car payments. I am not sure if I should just keep this car and rebuild the motor when it dies and make it more powerful or just bite the bullet and get a newer Mustang and start from there. Am I better off just selling my car for 4 grand and put that down on another car? If I wait until my car dies, then I won't have much to sell.

Any suggestions? This is my first post.

welcome aboard! wrong section though, try either general, 4.6 or maybe this would be better suited for off topic. personaly i think it would cost less to keep the 96 and mod that rather than starting from scratch with some car payments.
