I just bought my 97 GT (Automatic) and im just a little curious, what does it run in the 1/4? What can it all beat in races? If any1 that has a 96-98 GT (automatic) could reply and post your info and input that would be greaaaaaaaat.

Yea low 15's is right i ran a 15.3 with bald tires and the 3:73's, i also have a lot of miles on my car. And there are a lot of cars you can beat and a lot that can beat you are cars arnt very fast but its still a V8 Mustang!

14.7 with my mods and it's an auto. i beat the occasional stock srt-4's (if they suck at driving), hemi trucks, mid 80's corvettes, lots o' ricers.

gets new PI heads and cams and you'll be faster than a 99-04 mustang, plus autos arent a waste, shift kit and you'll be more consistent than a manual, if your gonna do drag or stoplight then use a torque convertor. Just be very careful if your gonna stoplight if someone runs a red light your ****ed. Make sure nobody is around and its a backroad
