Default what brand

I previously posted a message stating I have a 2002 gt,Im looking to do some work to it about $1,500 yea right that will last long. Anyhow i need more specifics as follows #1 what brand air filter kit,#2 which brand x pipe. #3 what size flowmasters and will they fit with the stock tailpipes.#4 what brand of gears.#5should i get a chip if yes what kind.#6what type of msd should i order. #7what size throttle body and or mass air should i use. thanks for your help

#1 You said air filter kit and l think you meant cold air kit. l have the BBK kit but l heard MAC makes good kits. You can even make one on your own.

#2 l haven't heard anything bad about Bassani and BBK.

#3 2 1/4" will fit the stock tailpipe but if you're taking it into a shop, the shop can make the muffler fit. l have the 2 1/2".

#4 Ford Racing gears is what l have. l had a mechanic install it for me.

#5 You would have to call a company that makes chips and have them specially made for your setup. lt'll be expensive but that's the correct way.

#6 l have the MSD 6A lgnition control. These are for slightly modified cars.

#7 Throttle body can be kept stock unless you're preparing the car for big mods. l heard 80MM mass air is good.

No, if you have a 2002 GT then go with the 85MM mas air system by C&L. 80mm is for mustangs before 2002..
