ya know. i think it started to smell right after i turned on the rear defroster. i didn't turn the heater on yet though. i'm hoping it's nothing serious. today is the only day i can maybe drive my car until next weekend! fractured finger or not, i need to go for a spin!

thats a new and a scary encounter. it would of helped if you found out where the smoke came from in the cab, and if it was smokin under the hood, or what. keep us informed when you get it diagnosed!

They might have spilled some oil like on the headers or soemthing some coolant or somewhere around that area and that would of cause some smokeing.

White smoke?

Pop a head gasket??

But you said the interior filled with smoke, could have been your heater core?

Hm...

I wonder if you had one badass short??

Typically oil will burn blue and if it's bad enough it'll burn black...hah. The white sounds more like coolant or you had some wires fry. Where is the car now?

Ackuric, thanks

If it's the heater core, then you would have smelled coolant and it could have been coming out of the vents. That's what happened to mine, and it fogged up the window..

ORIGINAL: nanaki

smelled more like oil. i was flippin out so now i don't remember. the smoke was more white/cloudy. kind of like it was just fogging up inside my car.
White Smoke = Engine coolant burning....
