How long does it take to reset the computer?
Im gonna put on my extensions for my car finally. how long do i have to unhook the battery for soo the computer resets?

i think its for like 10 seconds but just to be on the safe side i would do it for 10 minutes.

I ussually leave mine off for 5-10 minutes and that re-sets everything just fine.

I think you can just pull the ecm fuse rather than disconnecting the battery. Imo. 1 minute is good enough.
