what clutch to get?

im getting my 100k mile clutch replaced. it takes a sec to grab and engages at the very top of the pedal stroke.
what clutch would you recomend? ive been looking into the king cobra heavy duty clutch kit by ford. $170 shipped from MT.com
its supposed to hold 40% more with 10% less pedal effort.
my uncle says borg-warner makes good clutches but i havent heard of anyone using them. i really dont want an a/m one thats like a rock to push and is almost like an on/off switch.

I have a king cobra... i love it grabs hard, doesnt slip at all so its a little more difficult to drive than stock. For the first 2 weeks it grabs sooo hard and its a complete bitch to drive, but its to be expected; after about 1 month its awesome.

Spec all the way. Stage 1 if you plan on staying like ya are, stage 3 if you are planning on a blower/more stuff.

I know code has a spec 1 and he likes his.... but my god i saw one it looks SOO cheap. I'd rather have the stock clutch just by looking at it. My friend burnt his out in 6 months. (his spec 1)

+1! I'm running the same one and I love it. From what I heard it's better than the King Cobra but I may be wrong...

Get the King Cobra Clutch, The Maximum Motorsports Quadrant, and a new regular Ford clutch cable. It's a really nice combination.

hows the clamping force and pedal effort? its not like i cant really try em out. as long as its not a rock and too much stiffer than stock. i would like the clamping force to be better though.

id want a stiff one but not rediculously hard.

fallstar- is that what you have? you like it? hows the clamping force? i know the pedal effort is suposedly 10% less than stock so thats not a problem
