Hey guys, i am a new member, but i have always been a die-hard mustang fan. I started out with a 69 mach 1, but had to sell it due to bills, now i have an 03 gt 5spd. My car is pretty much stock, except k&n filter. I took it to the track a week after i got it, and the best i could run was a 14.5 on really bald stock goodyear tires. Since, i have put bfgoodrich gforce kdw tires on it, and planning on putting exhaust on soon.(tax check).

So, i too would like to break into the 13s, u guys think i should start with gears? shifter? programmer? cold air intake? I have heard that the programmers really arent worth the money, but i dont know. Thanks for the help.

Id say start with exhaust or gears

4.10 gears, pulleys, exhaust, and intake will get you closer to LOW 13's if not 12's

Also, does neone have problems with starting theirs after it warms up, sometimes on mine after i drive it and shut it off for a minute and try to start it back up it will turn over a few more times than usual b4 firin up?

FIrst, go w/ exhaust and gears. BOth will help to wake up your stang. The exhaust will also sound A LOT better than stock. It will sound like the muscle car that it is. The gears will help w/ acceleration too. Those should be your first two mods.

Best mod for an '03 GT, a supercharger, turbo, nitrous, Power adder is the way to go. Basic bolt ons and a gear will get you low to high 13s depending on your driving skill, the gear and your tires.

Also...I would go with 4.10's...most everyone that gets 3.73's always wish they had gone with a 4.10.
