Default Differences in GT vs V6

whats all the differences besides the engine and speedometer in the 99-04 v6. I'm considering buying one and just slapping an eaton m90 blower on it b/c they can be had for cheap.

The entire rear axle/differential is different.

THe rear is different. The V6 is a one-tire-frier while the V8/GT has a solid rear and both wheels spin

EDIT: The V6 is also a 7.5" rear while the GT uses the 8.8" rear which is fairly strong

Asside from cosmetics:

GT has an 8.8 inch rear with traction loc differential.
V6 has an open differential in a 7.5" rear.
This helps the GT get out of snow or mud and it lets the car hook up with both rear wheels at the track.

GT also has a stiffer suspension and thicker sway bars making it less bouncy.

No, you can build up the 7.5" rear end or get a 8.8" rear end like moose posted.

This site has both the install of an 8.8" swap or the cheaper route of just putting a trac-lok in the 7.5"
It's loaded with tons of really useful information.
