sad story about a mustang I saw today
Hello all~
I came to work today at the shop I work at, and I saw this gorgeous looking red Mustang convertible with tan top. I'd say a 99-02 style. I asked my boss why it was there, and he said the customer pushed it in to have us see why it stopped running and would not start. I got worried... pushing a stang in for that reason is no good. I found out later something was drastically BLOWN in the engine. I think it threw a rod or something. My boss said he asked the customer what the maintenance life was like on the car, and apparently this jacka** didn't change the oil for 25000 miles. I almost cried. What a neglected mustang, and the owner was not worthy of it's presence! Our shop may buy it and swap an engine into it and sell it, not sure yet. George |

I know that's what I thought. Wouldn't you notic ethe "low oil" light when it starts getting low? Let alone the ticking valves ? Or the lack of oil pressure??
