can a child seat fit into the back of a 04gt and also does if have a latch system because i have to sell my ls1 for this reason please help.if so i will be bying a 04gt conv next week

i have a car seat in the back of my 01 coupe it fits and is very safe ... the only problem is the passager seat has to be moved like all the way up which leaves the passager with hardly any room

i didnt try that cause i didnt think there was a seat belt in the middle ... that and the fact that the middle is to rounded... trust me it will be a tight fit but my wife is pretty tiny so she deals with it but i am looking for a SUV so i can use my car for ME lol

thanks my wife hates fast cars she never ride im my car so as long as my daughter can fit im ok we have a family car

you'd be ok some car seats use the lap restraints..

'04s have the attachment point for tethers. One on each side. The center is out of the question. I have put both of my kiddies in the back (ages 4 and 7) and taken them around town. For them I only use booster seats, but it's about the same.

Nope.
I have a car seat that stays behind the passenger seat, the chair is in a normal position, but it stays straight up so she doesn't sit there and kick the back of the chair. No one ever rides with me except my daughter to and from work. Evenings and weekends we use the wifes explorer for hauling us around. Get the sports car with a real backseat unlike the practically unusable backseat in Z28's and Trans-Ams.

I got a Magnum since both my wife and I are over 6 feet tall....Mustangs are really not for small kids
