Off-Topic: Marauder 4.6L?

RE: Off-Topic: Marauder 4.6L?
The marauder share the same drivetrain as the Mach I, making it one family hauler with attitude. Had the hardest time convincing my wife not to get one, she is a full-size Ford fan. I had to get her a Crown-Vic P-71 (police Code) after she drove my cousin's, she was hooked. I tell you that Vic was one hell of a car, damn near indestructable! I put an Accords rear bumper into the Front seats in Florida on Vacation by Disney, obviously totalling the honda. The Vic drove us around the rest of vacation, a piece of Duct tape to keep her left eye straight, no iar bag deployment, $2000. to rebuild the front end. Who could ask better of that for a car I paid $9500. for 3 years old with 60K miles. We drove it another 100K and sold it to a friend for $2000., and to my knowledge it's still going with 200K on it!

The Marauder 4.6L DOHC engine is essentially the same as that used in automatic transmission equipped '03-'04 Mach 1's, with the only difference being in the ECU programming and maybe the cam grind.

The maurader has the 4v like the mach. I test drove one and they are a pretty fun car with decent power, only drawback is they are big, but if its lots of room that u want then they are a sweeeeet car.

They are a 4v with an auto. The motor and the tranny are the same as the auto mach 1. They red line at 5800. They are very comfortable and reasonably quick for the size. They run high 14s. They are rated at 302 hp and 320 lbs of torque. I would drive one. They is a decent after market for them. I woud drive one as a daily driver if I could afford another car.

Ive felt they were some pretty cool cars since they were re-released in 03 or whatever year they came out. Cool thing is, that ive only seen 3 or 4 on the road in my life.
I had no idea it was the same design as the Mach1's 32v 4.6
i'll bet there is a huge aftermarket for it then..
but yes, ive seen some in pictures and what not that i REALLY liked, i think it would make an A+ winter/daily driver in the summer... granted, they might be kind of tough in the snow..
