96-98 PI swapped GT's
 

How much do these thing sell for? I've seen a couple around $9000 but has anyone ever sold one or bought one? I paid $4000 for my 96 GT w/ 93K miles Tremec 3650 trans, 3.73's and high flow cats. I could do the PI head and intake swap myself for around $1500 tops. So could I sell the car for more than $5500 and make some cash on this?

Probably wont ever happen but I just got to thinking about it.

hell 4 grand was a sweet deal, i cant find one for less than 5 non-pi here in nh. i was looking into a second stang just for the hell of it. id say you might be able to get a little more, but i would sell it non-pi. you will lose money if you drop that 1500$ into it. though im sure you can sell it for 5500$ no prob

I got mine for 5000 even and the next day I was offerd 6000$ by a freind. I didnt do it cuz I wanted the car for a long time. But it had 94,000 miles on it. U could probly make some profit if its clean.

O ya forgot to mention it had a new paint job same color code White thats almost 2 years old now. It looks good and the interior is freaking spotless after I changed out a couple broken plastic panels and put GT badges back on and ****. I bought it June 2nd 2005 and put just about 400 miles on it so far. I change the oil every 3 months and drive it to the front of my subdivision and back every once in a while because its been getting cold lately. The only thing it needs is a rebuilt Posi which I'll be doing soon. I dont think im gonna sell but I saw a PI swapped for around $9500 with 130K on body so I figured i'd ask.
