Mustang or Lightning?
Hey, Im new to the forum, I currently have a supercharged GSR, but Im having incesent problems, so if I sell it, Im looking at v8's in general. I like Mustangs, but would like to have a Lightning just for the fact that its different, a fast pickup, way cool. So, if you all dont mind lemme know some specs, such as 0-60, 1/4 times and price of say a Lightning and a Cobra. Or just gimme your opinions on each. Thanks guys.

Im leaning towards a Lightning, no offense to anyone, but there are sooo many Mustangs on the road. And I thought it would always be bad *** to have something thats fast that usually isn't, IE-a pickup. More opinions?

Gmoore379 Go with the mustang, at the very least you can drive with pride knowing that your car has a long history that the Craparo's can't compete with. Mustang Pride man thats what Im talking about. Mustangs are the last of the muscle cars, and because a car goes away for years and then gets reintroduced is not the same. 30+ years and going strong, thats quality... Can you say the same about a lighting p/u?

Thank god you're selling your jap crap. I'd have to say the Cobra as well.
Although, the current Lightning is only a second slower than the Corvette. Damned impressive for a pickup.
You can go here :http://www.svt.ford.com/html/index.html for specs on both the Lightning and the Cobra, made by none other than SVT themselves. Who else knows the vehicles better?

I will be the one who goes against the grain. Get the TRUCK!!! Nothing says TOUGH like a truck. Or why not buy a used Cobra and a used truck and put blowers on both? Compromise.<img border="0" src= smileys/smiley15.gif>
