Default I have a question on engines

My dad wants me to slap a 302 in my 99 GT. So my question is is that even possible and if so how hard would it be?

id rather have the 4.6... its more fuel efficient and probably more reliable. its also faster out of the box..... if you wanted a 5.0, why wouldnt you just get a foxbody mustang or a sn95 mustang?

It seems like a 1999 Mustang would still have a pretty long life left and possibly a decent resale value. The second you swap an engine into it, you send its resale right to the crapper. Unless it had a lot of miles, you would be better off selling it and just getting a fox or an sn95 as a project. And why a 302? Does he want to stroke it or something? If you are gonna do a swap you might as well do the 5.4 or 351w/c
