NY inspections
On the NY inspections they plug your car into a computer that is connected via the internet to the DMV ( I think ). My question is if I put a full exhaust consisting of LT's and catted midpipe, turn the rear O2 sensors off with a tuner, have no check engine light on, will it pass???
I've been told that as long as the check engine light is not on you'll be okay.

As far as I know, the pre-cats arent required to be street legal. Thats why all the aftermarket catted midpipes only have 2 cats. However longtubes aren't legal in some areas whether you have cats or not... And as far as your CEL goes, as long has you have the rear cats, you should be fine. Thats why the tuners only shut off your rear O2 sensors.
