hey guys,
well i have a question, im doing the PI heads thing and im not sure which intake to go with. My question is this, which is the best kind of intake for the money, the OEM 2003 with the aluminum coolant crossover, the bullitt, other aftermarket source or the GT-40? As for the last one, I have a '96 GT and my local speed shop guy said that he can get the GT-40 for the 4.6, is this true? and if so, is it worth my $500?
thanks

I didn't knowi there was a GT 40 intake for 4.6's. The bullit and aftermarket will cost over $1000 to install, the bullit being the chapest adn the others about $500-$600 more, unless your going with big cams and some port an polish not worth it. There are supposed to be 2 new intakes out this summer inthe $500 range.

Might be worth it than, but I personally would wait til the sumer and see if the new ones come out, otherwise your looking at over $1000.

take the intake to have extrude hone or have a real good port job both will help and will be about 1/3 of a new one and will be about the same performace and you can tell you friends see it's even has a stock intake..have the heads worked a lil as well<img border="0" src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0">
