Default Torque Converter Stall?

What is the best torque converter stall in your opinion and what exactly is the stall, in other words whats the difference between say a 2800 stall and a 3200 stall? thanks

B&M makes good converters too. the website Voodoo posted is one of our vendors. They have an excellent basic walkthrough of what comprises the torque convertor and how the stall is measured and so forth. basically for a DD you probably won't want anythign over a 3000 stall. The higher the stall the greater loss of driveability and gas mileage (if that's a concern to you).
