Default Few Questions before i do tune up

#1 - Do manual cars have tranny fluid? If so how in the world do you add tranny fluid? Im assuming to drain it you just take out a plug like automatic trannys.

#2 - Where can i get a new air filter that fits this CAI? Its the cheapo intake off of mustangtuning

#3 - If I take off the rear diff cover and drain the fluid will i need a new rear diff gasket? or can i reuse it. *i recently just had lsd/gears installed and everytime i drive my car for 15-20 minutes when i get out i can smell something like its burning. I think it might becoming from the diff.*

Sorry if these are "noob" questions. Ive only changed/added fluid in an auto tranny. Ive never touched my diff. And i cant find a new filter for that CAI.

1. Yes, you just open the drain plug and use the fill plug to add more until it comes out.
2. Can't help you with that one.
3. I bet your rear end has rtv for the seal.. So yes, you would have to scrape it all off and apply more rtv to make a new seal

Thats a reuseable filter, not a basic paper filter.. Spray'er down with some cleaner from autozone then hoser off.. give it an hour or 2 to dry and put it back on.

Ding Ding!!

Buy a K&N recharge kit, clean, and re-oil. No need to buy a new one.
