Default Subframe Connectors

I am under the impression convertibles already have subframe connectors, and I can see them, or something that resembles subframe connectors, but a guy at a car show told me that it is necessary to get them installed to keep the frame from tweaking. Is he crazy, or am I seeing things? I guess it is possible the person I bought the car from had them installed, but I don't think that is the case.

Yes, converts already have them, but I don't know if they are as good a quality as an aftermarket one would be.

Umm I have Steeda subframe connectors that I am about to install. Verts have more chassis flex than the coupes even with the extra support the have stock.

They definitely don't look very strong, I was just curious because I started to argue with the guy, but quit because I wasn't 100% certain, but I have seen the connectors now so I know, I will upgrade later, for now I need more power to justify the costs.

costs.. they are only about 100 bucks for full lenghts. No suspension work is done on a vert until you weld in those subframe connectors.

I just don't have any Real Power adders yet. So I am going to trust the stock parts for now. After I get my TB and Plenum I will probably start on suspension. I really don't drag race, I only toy with my car on back roads so suspension isn't really for me yet.
