How Dark?
Hey all, I drive a 00 black GT and am goin to get my windows tinted this weekend. I have heard that 35% is the legal limit. I am just wondering how dark would look good on my car, and what your opinions on going darker than the "legal" limit are. I have a friend who said she had 20% on her car and it looked good, so thats kinda what I am thinking now. ne way thanks ahead of time for your always valuable input.

i dunno where u live, but I live in CA, the most mod and aftermarket unfriendly state and we can go as dark as we want on the back and quarterpanel windows, I have 15% and would recommend it. Looks good but not too dark, but plenty dark enough. 35% on the sides and windshield would be dark enough for u I'm sure if you went with the 15 on the back 3 and would blend well.

Check your laws, some cops are DICKS.
In NJ, where I am, tinting is completely illegal. I have a 25% tint. Its black as black at night, and very dark in the day.
Ive been pulled over twice, JUST for the tint. No tickets, but just remember, you can be pulled over JUST for them, without question.
Im not discouraging it, hell I love it... I would never change my tints. I just giving you a heads up.

I got 20% on sides and 35% rear. It really depends on your interior color as well i went with twenty becaue i have tan leather so i makes it look lighter. i would say 20%, i know i love mine. i will try and post some pics if i can, i dont have any yet of my new tint.
