Question: If I have a Magnaflow catted X and Cat-back installed and want to install long tubes myself, is this a hard thing to do? Do they bolt on? No welding?

If I have a jack and jack stands is that good enough?

I hate to tell ya but they won't fit your Magnaflow catted X pipe. You'd need the short Magnaflow X pipe and I don't know if that comescatted or not.

What kind of tools do I need?

Thanks alot

nope, for long headers--> short x-pipe and the cats need to be welded to it (if you want them)

i have a short off road X pipe that bolts onto my headers, but as far as doing them with the car on jackstands? no way dude. your gonna want to do it on a lift.
Why not go to an wxhaust shop and see if they can install the headers, then cut/weld the x pipe to fit?

That's true, I was just seeing if it was something I could do myself. If I have the shop that is putting my exhaust on do it, am I getting the right X-pipe? What should I get(headers) for the best performance gains if I get the Magnaflow catted X?

Got it, I can do the BBK full length headers and they just started making a matching X-pipe. finish them off with Magnaflow cat-backs. How about that?
