Just wondering, are they ceramic or the steel ones?

I have the ceramic coated BBK headers, I'm finishing the install this weekend, whose header gaskets are you using?

well the first time i used the ones that came with the kit but they werent worth 2 cents, so since it was leaking so badly from the ripped paper gaskets, i got a set of Copper SCE's

By the way i just fininshed the job tonight and boy was it a long day. make sure they headers are perfectly flat before you install them and make sure you use either locking bolts or use jam nuts because my nuts came loose since the last time i took the headers out. i also spread some hi-temp copper silicone around the ports just to be same because i sure as hell didnt want to take them headers out again.

i just got in and my car sounds great, just like stock headers again and boy am i so happy that all my header problems are gone. Just a little advise for fellow mustangers who are looking into gettin some headers. either expect to be working for about 6 hours to put them in successfully and never buy BBK headers, they werent worth the trouble they caused.

LoL, you are the first person I have heard on these boards that have had trouble with BBK Headers.

BBK Headers are not bad, by any stretch. Im sorry that you had trouble, but don't throw down the company for it. 95% of the people on here who have BBK Headers will say they fit perfectly and have caused no trouble.

I had a leak with my MAC LT's, when I switched to my BBK's I made sure to get Stage 8 Locking Header Bolts and a brand new set of OEM FORD Racing Header Gaskets. Have had no leaks what so ever. The first time around I used the MAC gaskets and stock bolts, junk!
