Do the speedo gears work on the 99-04s? Or do you have to use a tuner or speedcal?

I just had 4.10 FRPP's installed in my '96 automatic. I love them. I wouldn't recommend anything smaller. 4.30's are probably even better for '96-'98 automatics. Installed a 23 tooth speedo gear as well. Takes 5 minutes to put in for $15.

dude, really not much difference between 373's and 410's. Im going w/ 373's to keep my rpms as low as possible on the freeway and still have a good take off time. If the couple hundred rpms in od or 5th doesnt bother you, then go w/ 410's. I on the other hand travel from san diego to san bern daily and want to save as much gas as possible. I should probaly go w/ 355's but 373s are a happy medium....

oh, and as for the speedo gear, a 23t speedo gear will help your speedo be "more" correct, but will still be off... the gear is perfect w/ 355's though.
and yes, problay should get motive bushing/bearing kit as well. As long as they are in the rear end () its cheap insurance to have this stuff replaced. Labor wont be much more and its good knowing that the rear end will be rebuilt....

yeah, for some its not enough, but from stock 273's to 373's its a freakin awesome jump and will definately tell the difference.... all depends on your needs, are you a weekender track racer or daily driver that actually uses there car for traveling (like I do)
