Does anyone have any suggestions on where to get installed some 3.73 gears in my 01 Mustang GT? Is it the dealer or a private garage? I don't mind paying the money as long as it's done right the first time. I live in MD near Bel Air. Thanks</P>

Don't take it to a dealer. I have the same issue. The dealer quoted me 700 just labor as I have the parts already. I turned them into Ford and wrote a nasty letter.

d hood i live about a hr away from u theres quite a few places that would.... but if u call speed unlimited and buy the gears there ull be happy and the guys there install gears but on the side so u might wanna give them a try

yea off of suitland parkway. oen of the guys that works there was in 5.0 the stock and awe 10 sec o3 cobra i happen to be good frineds with lol

The dealer should be able to sell you the gears for about 150 - 175 if they are honest. If they are charging you much more than that they are taking advantage of you. The labor should be in the same ballpark.
