So is it safe to say with a full PI swap I'd be within 25rwhp of you???
IF you go with pretty extreme cams....

I wanna know what heads/cams and boltons you have. I know you have the stock PI intake, but that did not come stock on your car correct?

no my car was non pi. the heads and cams came off an 01 GT. my cams are comp XE278AH wich require lots of piston notching for clearance. mac L/T headers, o/r x and 2 chamber flows. mac cai, 70mmtb, C&L plenum.

that's about it.

Imma hijack this thread! I have an 04, of course, and am getting ready to dig deep into the motor, (and wallet) and start building. I am going to get rid of my cams and heads and intake manifold for some bigger and better things. I've never realized they had any worth. So my question is, what are those things worth? (So that I can sell them after I get the new stuff)

if your stuff is stock, you can get 400-600 for all of it at least. it really depends on supply and demand. i'd ebay them. i paid 450 for my stuff back in 04, but i've seen em go for up to 800 or so if the demand is up there.

depends on what bolt ons you have, what cam you use, your tune etc...

if you are aiming for the 280 range, i'd reccomend VT stage II cams and springs along with full exhaust and a 75mm TB/plenum. you won't need head porting or valve work for that, but you won't hit 300 without it.

So do you think with vt stage 2's and head porting and polisihing, I'll be able to hit 300??

MMmmK I have pretty much full boltons right now minus headers. I was thinking some PI heads and PI intake w/VT Stage I's... Would 50RWP be an accurate guesstimate for such a swap? I'll be tossing on just the PI intake and 100 shot if not. I'd have to see how much VT stage I's cost too, I'm on an uber tight budget.

with stage I's and no headers, you'll be in the 260 range.

providing you get a good port job, and a good tune, yes you can, but again you'll need full intake and exhaust bolt ons. valves would also help. it's very hard to hit 300 without a combo of LT headers and full bolt ons, porting cams and good tuning. an injector upgrade would also help.
