So with a 1.8 60 I could run mid 12's and trap under 110mph? With the 100 shot and my current mods, could I end up going faster than mid 12's? I would hate to get 4.10's and run out of gear. I really want a daily driver that I can run at the track and drive all over Texas.

What kind of times did you run with your 4.30's, midpipes etc.?

I want my car to be in the mid 12's. I know 4.10's are better than 3.73's, but I don't want to have to shift into fifth gear in the quater mile. The next thing I'm going to add is a 100 shot.
What's it matter? As long as you can hit or cross the 1/4 mark before you're on or after redline then no you don't have to shift into 5th gear.

No way, 120mph will get you into the 11's with traction.

To get into the 12's, without weight reduction & drag radials, you'll need atleast a 107-110mph trap.

I might be talking out of my ~~~ but I believe that 114-116mph will get you about an 11.6-11.7 I THINK if you have traction. So a 120mph trap should sit you in low 11s. I could be wrong. I've never really fully understood how it work because i've seen times of 12.20 @ 118mph.

MPH is a direct reflection of how power a car is making. Your 12.20 @ 118 is an example of a car that has power but can't get off the line well. For referance my Nova went 11.4 @ 118 with a (crappy for that car) 1.60 60 foot time.

I live in Shreveport, but i'm in Dallas all the time. 00silver, what kind of times are you running with 4.10's? I want to know what kind of times people are running with 4.10's and 4.30's and what you're traping at?

I want to do 4.10's, but if your close to redline I don't want to risk it. Anybody else close to the redline with 4.10's?
