Default 2v to a 4v

I have my 5.4 now and I'm planning on putting my 2v heads on it for now.... My final goal for the car is to be a n/a monster. What I want to do is convert to 4v heads with monster cams and forged internals and more compression. My question is, what does it take to convert to the 4v heads as far as things like wiring goes and eec and making the thing run?

i know there is a diffent front cover the block can bee used but there is two fornt cover bolts that are in a diffent spot on the 2v and 4v motors every one said it is fine just use a lot of rtv sealent there to make sure you don't have a oil leak. and of coarse your timing chain tentioner is diffent. you can used a harness off of a cobran and it should work just fine but im not sure about the intake.

Well I will make a sheet metal intake. I'm just not sure if the ecu/eec on a 2v car will run a 4v head? I'm not sure why it wouldn't but yet again I'm not sure. I know the timing cover will have to be replaced and some odds and ends. Also does anyone know if the headers for a 2v are the same as a 4v?

Lincoln Navigators used a 5.4 w/ 4v head, if i were doing your swap, I would be scouring junkyards for a Navvie that some homeboy put into a tree, maybe catch a deal on the DUBS, too. LOL!

Yeah that woud be ideal but around here in Minnesota the junk yards just don't have as much good stuff as other states for some reason.

there is a member on here running a 96-98 cobra motor with a 96-98 ecu it runns the motor but i think he needs a tune for it to shut something off causing a mil. just find a good shop that can dyno tune it when your ready and you should be fine.
