fukd up my clutch?

fukd up my clutch?
heres what i was doing.. I was just banging through the gears probably a lil harder then i should. Went to up shift, and this is what happend.. couldnt get it gear, clutch fell to the floor.. i finally got it to go in gear, but now when u place it in gear it makes a humming/hissing noise. anyclues to fix it.

Yep, hate to say it, but your probably going to need a new clutch. The same thing happened to me about a month ago, I was letting a friend drive my car and he was doing some hard double clutching. But yeah had the same problems, really soft clutch and shifter wouldnt go into gear. My particular case was that I shaved up the flywheel pretty bad.

that thing is gone, and iof you are gonna be banging it, and taking it to the track on occasion....look into like a stage 2 racing clutch...those are good for street and track...

well mustang tunning.com has some KingCobras for like 169.99. ive been calling around to shops to check about the install. ive got a quote of 400 being lowest and 425 being most expensive.
