Default Tire question

My 02 Mustang GT now has 245/45/17 on it. If i put 2 235/45/17's on the front and 245/45/17's on the back would it mess up my speedometer or cause any other problems? IF so what sizes would you guy suggest for the rear?

it wouldn't throw your speedo off but that sure would be stretching it, the stock 245's already look kinda narrow. why are you going with 235's anyway?

I saw a pair on ebay that have a good price on them. So you would not go any lower then 245?

the speedo reads from the rear wheels so adding narrower tires to the front wouldnt throw off the speedo. 255's are a fairly expensive tire because they are not that common, you could probably get a 275 for less than a 255.
