Got a question for you guys that have done exhaust to your 03 and up 4.6 liters. I was looking at the slp exhaust convertor back, and was wondering 1. is this a good system? 2.Any other brands worth taking a look at? 3.What would I be looking at for gains? Thanks to all, and fire away.

I am not a fan of SLP as they grew quality seemed to go down hill and now with out the GM guys producing camaros and birds they have to find a new outlet. My friends with GM's cringe at anything with SLP that was not factory.</P>


That and they sound really really raspy from what I have heard.</P>

Borla &amp; Bassani make very good quality performance exhaust, but are on the pricey side of your wallet.</P>


Magnaflow, &amp; Dynomax also make very good quality performance exhausts [nod to Magnaflow for great quality, sound, &amp; performance].</P>


All of the aformentioned brands are SS, &amp; have lifetime warranties. The only one I am not sure about is Dynomax on the warranty. I have Bassani, &amp; Maganflow on my '02.</P>
