PLEASE HELP! MUSTANG WON'T RUN!
Well I installed a CAI, 75mm throtle body and plenum, and I have a predator tuner. The car has been out of comision for a few weeks. When I turn the ignition (not starting the engine) there is a whine like noise. When I start the engine there is white smoke coming from the engine near the firewall on the passenger side. There is a faint burning smell and the engine dies or runs VERY rough and choppy. If the car dies the engine and battery light comes on. The trouble code says something about OBC11 test could not run or finish. Does anybody have the slightest idea what could be wrong? Or shuld I just drive it around the block and let the cpu try to fix the idle, adjust the screw to see it that helps? I'm all out of things to do except take everything off and start again. I am begging for any and all advice!

What is your timing set to? And did you change the A/F? If you have to running to rich it would do that.. would smoke quite a bit and would run like crap. Another thing you might try if those are normal is to pull your battery and let it sit for about 5 min to clear and then start it again.. see if that helps.

It was running that way before I set the tune, I reset it to stock and it's still running that way. I disconnected the battery too. I'm thinking something might not be connected because of the whinning sound when I turn the ignition.

Could the whining sound be the fuel pump?
Did the smoke stop after the first startup (like oil on the exhaust) or does it continue?
Make sure the Mass air meter wiring is connected correctly.
