I installed the cold air intake by steeda and my service engine soon light came on. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

The screen is in. I did have to remove the rubber grommet that was around the screen in order for the bolts to fit. The service engine light did not come on right away. When it did, I noticed the small sensor was not properly seated. I added some silicone and installed it. But the light will not go away. I heard that you can disconnect the battery for 30 seconds and it will go away, but have not tried this yet.

Take it apart, put it back together right, disconnect the battery for 3 minutes and it should be enough to reset the computer. A member suggested disconnecting your battery and turning on your headlights to eat up whatever power is stored within the system.
