GOOD LUCK EMANN

as for a break in procedure,, there really isnt one...

go to the water box, go around

back in a tad and pull out a tad

then get em smokin a bit,, no huge smoke show,, but enough to make them sticky (they REALLY do get tacky on the surface)

and then pull up slowly to the line to go,,
then give it hell

and you have to burn out each time youre at the line lol.. its not just a one and out

you'll notice how sticky they are when you get back from a run and stop to let them cool down, you'll have gravel and rocks, and what not all over the rubber

(and going down the track you hear crap pinging all over the underside

Is that really necessary? There is very little tread on these to begin with....

I'll post times and slips when I get back. Pray it stays dry tomorrow. If so, then I'll have the GF take pics and shoot some vid. I plan on getting at least 4-5 passes.

You don't have to burn out, they only ASK you to spin your tires so you don't drag rocks and chunks of rubber down the track.

If you get those tires to smoke, they will get greasy and not hook the way you want. They need a 2 or 3 second spin and that's all...they will hook hard COLD.

yea just give em a good quick spin to clean em off and heat them up. as soon as they start smoking you can let off. practice to get the right burnout/rpm launch combo that gives you the best 60 foot. as for the tread depth, sorry but BFG's dont last long, especially if you race them alot. you'll prob get a few thousand miles out of them.

These are track only tires. 12 miles to and from the track, and then back off they come. I'm headed out in about 2hours. Wish me luck. I couldn't break the top bolts loos eon my quad shocks[:@] That will have to wait until later....

Thanks guys!
