help my tranny is whinning
my transmission is whinning i was wondering if any knows what could cause this.........i have 4.11's doe's that make it do that .................????

is your tranny stick or auto? does the nose come from the tranny or the diff.

from the tranny i hear the noise from the rear end but i think that is just my low gears

it might be your throwout bearing from your clucth if its coming from your transmission more than likely. my car does that too.[&o]

really well i have some metal shavings also in my rear end........it seems like i'm starting to get alot of problems

are you sure its coming from you tranny? if you have shavings in your rear its prob your gears. time for some 4.10's

my tranny whines too in neutral idk why... i plan on getting new clutch install soon. hopefully that will take care of problem.

rbstang if your tranny whines in neutrual does the whinning stop when you press on the clucth if so it you throwout bearing from your clutch

my AUTO transmission whines a little bit when taking off (i assume it's the tranny). Is this normal? Some cars i've driven did it while other didn't, The car has only 31k miles.
