strut tower brace
I dont understand how these things work. thay are advertized to lower body roll, but i dont see how that is. It seems all it can do is strengthen the frame and make it a pain to work on the engine. can someone tell me how these work?

RE: strut tower brace
Eliminates flex between the front strut towers under heavy cornering. They work best when coupled with Subframe connectors and some other chassis stiffening parts.
Unless your planning on road racing the thing, I wouldnt worry too much about it, not worth the cash.

I road race a lot, and theres a lot of flex in my convertible frame. The light bar got rid of most of it, but I need all the support i can get. I guess this sounds like the upgrade for me!

Right, lightbar isn't made for much other than cosmetics. You will need suspension mods including a strut tower brace for better handling. It would have been nice if they made the lightbar into a really secure roll bar of some sort to better protect the driver. Probably would crush like a pancake if you ever rolled onto it.

The light bar is mainly for appearance more than anything.. Get STB and aftermarket subframes, lower the car with coilovers, and get some good tires as well as some gears to keep you in the powerband better.
