Will they fit on 17" bullitt rims? I just wanna put 2 in the rear and keep my 245/45/17's up front. I just wanna make sure the 275/40/17's will fit on the stock 17" bullitts. Thanks. I plan on buying in the next couple of weeks.

I've always assumed that you need a 9 inch rim to fit a 275/40/17 tire. I could be wrong but it could be the other way around (trying to fit a 9 inch rim on a 245/45/17 tire.

If you want to go with wider tires I would suggest you get new rims. If you don't have that kind of cash to spend you should just keep a 245/45 tire on there. Hope this helps

Well I've heard from 1 other person I could put 275/40/17's on a 17" bullitt from a GT, but I was just trying to make sure before I went and bought them and they didnt fit.

I know, but I figured I would ask now while I was thinking of it, so once I got back on tomorrow night at work, I would have some answers. Trust me, I'm on here from 12am to 8am tuesday-saturday while I'm at work, I know when peoples on and not on.

dude, i agree that a 275 should fit on a stock GT rim. as long as you get the 275/40-45 not 275/35

i jsut checked tirerack, and they show a 265/40 being the biggest, but i think you could fit them on there.

I was also on tirerack, and I seen the 265's, but I swear someone said 275/40/17 would fit and was the biggest you could go.

yeah i remember that too. i dont know, id ask a tire shop if they think it would fit, id hate to buy tires that are too big. that would suck

It would suck real bad. I hope to get an answer from someone with knowledge about tires on here. I hope anyways.
