Default piggy vs non piggy

what is the diff in piggy back pullys vs non piggy back, why are the piggy back not as good

Well I can answer the first part. Piggy backs are attached to the stock pulley and non piggy backs are the whole replacement for the crank pulley all in itself.

non-piggy back pulleys, in otherwords, the ones that have a dampner built into them are already balanced. You run the risk of not having a optimally balanced crank pulley if you buy the piggy back style.
