My garage Queen is getting some presents in a few weeks
Current mods are in my sig.
4.10's are coming out, 4.30's are going in.
Stock springs out, B springs in.
Stock rear control arms out, custom fabricated arms in. Uppers are double adjustable.
Tq boxes will be welded and full length subframes welded in.
continuing to launch the car at 5k on ET streets isn't a good idea without these installed.
The shop will then work their suspension magic and dial the suspension in to the geometry of the car. After that, it's off to the track for further dial in.
first goal, get the suspension to work so the car kicks serious a$$ in the 330. Being that I'm not making a lot of power, the 330 is going to make or break my et.
If I was smart, I'd get the suspension done and leave the 4.10's in there and then see how the car changes. But considering that I have a club event coming up in April, and the shop is very busy, that's not an option. I also have to do the break in period for the gears and the repacked differential.
I'm not expecting a dramatic reduction in times. My main goal at this point is to have a consistent mid to high 12 second GT that gets driven to the track and driven back home.
After these mods, Im probably going to go with some engine mods. TB, plenum, UD pullies. After I get bored with that, maybe cams.

Mild cams would be my choice. The car is still a street car. I race for my enjoyment. Really test and tunes and my clubs events. I have no interest in doing bracket racing.

Might as well have a good foundation and build up from there. That's how I look at it.
