after either 6000 or 8000k you dont get anymore useful light. it just scatters. more light after that is just to give it a color tinge and annoy other drivers by glaring all over the place at them.
dont get me wrong...i love the way they look. its a tough call. 10000 is a little too purple-ish for me...i LOVE the blue hue of HIDs...so i might say 8000k. its allllll personal preference though...go for what you love and will want to drive with. its your car and your money.

Neither...
Why?
Because you dont have projector lenses. Without projector lenses the HIDs wont have a nice cut off line and they will blind all of the other drivers on the road. The stock housings cant cut that style of light to an acceptable height at all.
Expect to get pulled over or have a lot of drivers flash at you / flip you the bird.

MTShambles, have u tried HIDs on that body style mustangs?
I personally have a 6000k aftermarket kit and not one person complained about my lights. The cutoff is very good and i definitely don't blind anyone. If anything, i think they are less of a nuesence than the stock bulbs.
