RE: Installed Throttle Body Plenum Last Night!!!
After installing my throttle body, I'm noticing a really light ticking noise when I pop the hood. It sounds like the pullies to me, when I give it gas, the ticking goes away, but at idle it does it again. I just think it's my belts/pullies, what do you guys think?

Yea LT's will really wake up the car. Someone recently told me BBK's were tested at 18 rwhp ALONE.
I can't wait until my full setup is one next weekend. Im pumped. I am expecting around 20 rw horses, and then with the CAI in a few months, right around 25-26 or so. Real nice gains from an exhaust =)

Hard lesson to learn. I had mentioned many times in some of the TB/plenum install forums that you have to use 1/4" drive sockets when installing these parts as the size and alloy nature of these bolts are sensitive to over torquing. You always go "down" in your ratchet size when installing small bolt diameters. Otherwise.....snap, crackle and pop! To complicate matters, these parts (as many others on this Ford engine) are aluminum alloys that are also subject to over torquing which will cause part distortion and/or cracking. If your engine runs rough after the install, chances are you have over torqued these parts and have cause some sort of vacuum leak. Be careful around alloys and small parts!
