Default Car is STILL having problems.

My idle is still off and the throttle position sensor circut A low input trouble code is still on. I took off everything and installed it again, and it ran much better. It only died on me once instead of the 5 times the other day. The weirdest thing is when I came out of the car wash it was idleling fine for about 30secs and when I went through the drive thru it was idleling good for about 30secs. I don't know if this will make sense but pretend this is a normal idle: ........................... my car's idle is like this: ... ... ... ... ... ... dipping up and down from 700rpm to about 950rpm. I am really trying to avoid taking it to the shop but I don't have any idea what to do. It started when I installed the CAI, 75mm tb, and plenum. I put the Predator tune in, took it out, and put it back in. The car is noticably faster tho, but the idle make wonder what is wrong. If I take so needle nose pliers and play with the TPS the engine speeds up, and if I turn the screw in the tb the engine changes the idle slightly, sometimes speeding up or slowing down the choppiness. Please help with ANY advice, thanks.

P.S. Mods I would not mind if you moved to general tech if you think I would get more responses.

Hmmmm I'm willing to bet you screwed something up when you did it (IAC, TPS, something). If you are just getting fed up with it, go ahead and take it to a shop, preferrably one who deals in aftermarket stuff like this. It couldnt cost that much as it would be a simple fix for them, just a little bit of adjusting. Also, what happened when you put the stock tune back on? Did it run any better?

Nah, it didn't run any better with the stock tune. That sucks tho, I took my time and thought I was careful with all of the pieces.[&o]

It really is no biggy. If you give up just take it to a shop. They will more than likely be able to fix it licketly split and it won't cost you much at all.

Yeah sounds like something is not set right. Is it surging through all the RPM range or just on idle?

Starcam, do you know how I can adjust the voltage? It just surging on idle, man I thought the install was going to be a piece of cake. I was expecting to kill some Hyabusas.

Okay, maybe I should have mentioned this but I forgot. Before I put my mods on, I had about 1/2 a tank of 87. Then I put about 6gals of 93 in the tank. Do you think that had something to do with it, because the car idles pretty fine now that the tank is low.[&:]
