Default how to fix it?

I have a P0122 code is for tps sensor it means that the input of tps is lower than expected.how to fix it? it tried adjusting it but i cannot turn it.just buy new one?
the car is 99gt auto. any help will be helpfull

Well obviously, be sure it is still plugged in completely. Follow the cable a little bit and see if it is broken anywhere. If you've got a multimeter, set it to ohms of resistance (forget the name of it), put one end on a grounded source (I found the throttle plenum worked fine), and put the other wire on the middle connector from the TPS and you should have very little resistance, try measuring the voltage through it, too... key must be in the on position, but the engine does not have to be running obviously. Pull the TB open with your hand and at WOT there should be very little (if any) voltage coming from the TPS middle connector.
