I was racing a full decked SRT-4 (exhaust, turbo timer, turbo blow off, intake) and I didnt have to hard of a time to keep up but he had me for sure. that was when my car was 100% with all factory parts @ 115,000 miles on them. if I did my exhaust, tb, plenum, gears, and rims/tires that car would have been mine! I know if I had the PI heads that would have helped allot!
That's FAR from "full decked". There is another friend of mine on the site I posted above that is putting down close to 500hp at the wheels. Steve's car is INSANE.

From a roll, it will take a bit of work. But from a did, a 99+gt should take one, I beat one with stage 2 in my 03 gt.

but you have to remeber that I live in MN and if you had a 500hp car that you where trying to drive in the snow you would kill your self. I was just saying that the srt had 1+ on me because I was still all stock (I just got the mustang last fall). My old probe would have given that srt a run for it money.

code3GT, your friend said he was only running "310hp and 353 Tq" thats far from 500hp! and if I put as much into my mustang as he put into his Srt I beat I could bet him anyday of the week.

you could run like 100 shot at the max.

There are 2 SRT's on that board. Casey's is 310 and Steve's is close to 500. If you look on the main page on the board Steve's is the one pictured.

I would never put that much into a dodge! If I was going rice it would have to be with a STi. AWD all the way. I would never put allot into a FWD car again! The wheelhop alone is a killer.

There is a guy on here.. Stangman or something like that, with an 05 GT and an SRT-4. Ask him which is cheaper to mod and which one see's more gains from each mod. Its cheaper to put an SRT-4 into the the 12's then it is a N/A new edge stang.. and much cheaper then trying to get a n/a NPI GT into the 12's.

Sorry bro, but with just your couple of mods, you should be running 14.7-14.9 or so. An Srt-4 stock runs low 14's, so you would have alot of work to do to beat one.

First off, you are looking at a $25-30,000 car mine was $6,000 diffrence of $20,000 and your trying to say that for $20,000 I could not have a 12 sec. car. HAHAHA and thats not looking at how much he payed for all the upgrades! second, if I was trying to make me car a 12 sec car it would not be n/a. I would be running a BIG A$$ TURBO and I might even have a small shot of N20. 3rd, if I wanted to make my car faster I would have the 5.4 in there tomorrow!
