Default 2003 GT, Stroking versus Building

Hey, my name's Dave and I have a 2003 GT, 5-speed. My aftermarket upgrades were done by Ride Revolution out of Johnson City Tennessee, they include:

Steeda Under-drive Pulleys
AEM Brute Force Cold Air Intake
Excalibrator with a stock, 87 octane and 93 octane programs (from the dyno)
B&M Short Throw Shifter
3:73 gears
Borla Cat-Back exhaust

My goal is to eventually do a suspension upgrade, go to a 6 speed transmission and either twin turbo or supercharger, with a goal of no less than 600 hp.

What can I do to continue upgrading my stang, getting more horsepower without purchasing equipment that I will end up replacing because of future upgrades. Basically, I will consider anything, I just want to make sure I don't waste money later on down the road. I am confused about the difference between building an engine or stroking an engine and the turbo vs. supercharger. Basically, what can I do NOW to serve as a good foundation to continuing future upgrades. Thanks for any help y'all can provide, I'm new to this and have got the bug bad. Later.

"Stroking" only means you add displacement by replacing the bottom end with a "stroker" kit. You change the size (height) of the pistons and the stroke lenght of the connecting rods.

If you stick with a blower, you can add LT headers and a mid pipe right now. If you go with a turbo, it require either custom headers that come with the kit, or the stock manifolds.

Turbos will make more power all other things equal. They are also alot more expensive.

600+ RWHP is gonna require a built shortblock, a power adder, and some good heads/intake/cam work as well.
